Ethereum Price Prediction Eyes $5,000 as Whale Sends 41,000 ETH to Exchanges, AlphaPepe Offers the First-Cycle Trade

The Ethereum price prediction is facing a major test after a whale or institutional wallet deposited 40,881 ETH, worth roughly $100.7 million, into exchanges over two days. The transfer comes with ETH trading around $2,430-$2,450, raising questions over whether potential selling pressure could interrupt its recent recovery.

Longer-term bulls are still watching $5,000 if Ethereum can eventually clear major resistance. AlphaPepe (ALPE), meanwhile, offers a very different first-cycle trade at $0.02845, with $2.55 million raised and more than 11,400 holders before public price discovery begins.

Ethereum Whale Moves $100M to Exchanges

On-chain tracking shows wallet 0x2Ea2 deposited 40,881 ETH into exchanges over two days, worth approximately $100.7 million at recent prices.

The address had reportedly accumulated 51,387 ETH worth around $125.9 million and still held approximately 10,506 ETH after the transfers.

Moving cryptocurrency onto exchanges can indicate an intention to sell, although a deposit alone does not guarantee that the assets will be liquidated.

The transaction nevertheless introduces another source of potential supply while ETH trades around $2,400-$2,500.

Ethereum is simultaneously dealing with wider macro pressure following renewed U.S.-Iran tensions and increasingly hawkish expectations surrounding Federal Reserve policy.

Ethereum Price Prediction Still Leaves $5,000 in Play

Despite the short-term uncertainty, the larger Ethereum price prediction remains significantly more bullish.

Analysts have identified approximately $2,722-$2,970 as an important resistance zone. Clearing that area could remove a major supply barrier and strengthen the route toward substantially higher prices.

A $5,000 ETH price would represent slightly more than 2x from approximately $2,440.

There are also bullish on-chain signals offsetting the latest whale deposit. More than 180,000 ETH reportedly left exchanges during a recent seven-day period, while the number of addresses holding more than 10,000 ETH increased.

That creates a mixed picture: one major holder appears to be moving substantial ETH toward exchanges while broader whale accumulation has recently strengthened.

AlphaPepe Offers the First-Cycle Trade

Ethereum has already completed several major market cycles. AlphaPepe remains before its first.

ALPE is priced at $0.02845 while the presale has raised $2.55 million and attracted more than 11,400 holders. Previous stages sold out quickly as AlphaPepe continued building toward public trading.

The presale will close in Q1 2027, with the DEX launch scheduled for the same quarter. AlphaPepe’s listing price starts from $0.08.

Moving from $0.02845 to $0.08 represents approximately 2.81x.

Ethereum would need to rise from $2,440 to roughly $6,860 to produce the same multiple. That illustrates the difference between buying an established $290 billion-plus cryptocurrency and entering a token before its first exchange price exists.

LATOKEN Expands AlphaPepe’s Exchange Runway

AlphaPepe has also reached another milestone before launch.

LATOKEN has been announced as its fourth CEX partner, expanding an exchange lineup that is being assembled while ALPE remains in presale.

The team has confirmed that further exchange partnerships will be announced. Online speculation suggests a higher-tier CEX could potentially join the lineup next, although no such partnership has been confirmed.

AlphaSwap Early Access is already live as well, giving AlphaPepe an ecosystem product before ALPE reaches public markets.

For buyers targeting a first-cycle trade, the combination of presale pricing, an expanding exchange lineup and a defined Q1 2027 DEX launch creates multiple milestones that Ethereum passed years ago.

More Than 300 Buyers Have Used Bonus Drop

AlphaPepe’s live Bonus Drop is also attracting participation, with more than 300 buyers already using it.

Buyers can reveal +10%, +30%, +50%, +100% or +200% extra ALPE, and every draw wins. The bonus remains active for 48 hours and applies to every qualifying purchase during that period, while previous purchase activity improves the odds of receiving a larger multiplier.

The Ethereum price prediction still leaves room for $5,000 if ETH can overcome its major resistance zones, but the latest 40,881 ETH exchange transfer introduces another short-term supply test.

AlphaPepe offers the earlier and more speculative alternative. With $2.55 million raised, 11,400+ holders, ALPE at $0.02845, a listing price from $0.08 and four CEX partnerships announced, buyers are entering before the project experiences its first public-market cycle.
