The OCC has finalized rules implementing the GENIUS Act for payment stablecoin issuers and certain custody activities under its supervision. The framework is set to take effect in January 2027, giving banks and issuers clearer federal requirements. This Crypto Update puts payment-focused assets such as XLM and CRO inside a more defined regulatory landscape.
Rules can bring institutional scale, but they also increase the need for products that make stablecoins useful beyond trading. Remittix is building PayFi to turn digital assets into fiat deposited into ordinary bank accounts, with 41 more currencies planned. XLM and CRO support financial ecosystems; RTX could become the scarce token behind the last mile into banking.
Crypto Update Reshapes the Stablecoin Market
The final OCC rule covers detailed reserve, reporting and operational expectations for permitted issuers, foreign issuers and supervised custody activities. Greater clarity can reduce uncertainty for banks considering stablecoin services. It also establishes a clear compliance baseline before the framework becomes effective.
Stellar has long targeted cross-border settlement and asset issuance. XLM can benefit if regulated stablecoins increase activity across open payment rails. The network’s efficiency and institutional integrations make it a natural candidate for expanding tokenized-money flows.
CRO represents a different distribution model through Crypto.com’s exchange, cards and application ecosystem. Stablecoin rules can support user confidence and institutional partnerships, but platform success does not always transfer proportionally into CRO buying pressure.
This Crypto Update therefore favors projects linking payment adoption directly to token economics. Regulatory clarity can enlarge the market, yet the strongest upside may belong to an earlier network where fees, benefits and scarcity all reinforce the native asset.
Remittix Builds the Bank-Account Destination
Stablecoins move quickly between wallets, but recipients often still need exchanges to convert them into spendable money. Remittix PayFi handles that final step. A sender uses crypto, conversion occurs and the recipient receives fiat directly in a bank account.
Support for 41 additional currencies can expand the Remittix payment network across dozens of remittance routes. That targets high transfer fees, long settlement waits and confusing cash-outs. Each completed payment can create revenue from an existing real-world need.
Markets diversifies the model with more than $50 million in perpetual-futures volume. Earn will target up to 22% APY on ETH, USDT and USDC, while RTX holders receive extra APY. Payments, trading and deposits can all create recurring commercial activity.
The iOS wallet has passed 10,000 downloads, providing one interface for the ecosystem. A stablecoin customer can move from PayFi into Earn, then use Markets without Remittix acquiring the same person again. That can improve lifetime value substantially.
A 300 million RTX burn will remove 20% of total supply at launch. Future revenue-funded buybacks and burns can continue the reduction. As regulation brings more stablecoin activity, Remittix can earn from that growth while fewer RTX remain available.
The Regulated Tailwind Meets Scarcity
Approximately $33 million has been raised from 40,000-plus participants toward the $36 million hard cap. RTX remains $0.28 before the announced $0.46 final stage and November 24 debut, turning regulatory momentum into an urgent pre-market setup.
XLM and CRO may gain as clearer rules expand stablecoin use, but both are established assets. Remittix offers an earlier position in the service users need after receiving stablecoins: conversion into local bank money without exchange friction.
The critical Crypto Update is not merely that rules are clearer. It is that Remittix can enter a regulated growth market with multiple revenue engines and 20% less supply. If PayFi becomes a preferred exit rail, RTX may reprice before mainstream buyers identify the connection.
